Not at all. If they can open a link on a phone, tablet, or computer and press a record button, they can do this. There's no app to download. No account to create. We send a simple link. They click it, see a question, and record their answer. Most of our participants are over 65, and the process was designed with them in mind.

Any language they're comfortable in. We've recorded interviews in Yoruba, Igbo, Pidgin English, Twi, French Creole, Patois, Swahili, and many others. The captions will reflect the original language, and we can provide English translation transcripts as an add-on if needed.

Most families finish in 7–14 days. Right after you order, we text your loved one their private interview link. They record at their own pace — some in one sitting, others across a week. Final delivery is within 10 business days of their last recording.

Our 25 questions are carefully designed to draw out a full life story. If there are one or two specific questions you'd love us to include — 'Tell me about the day you left Nigeria,' 'What do you want my children to know?' — just reply to your confirmation email and we'll add them.
